How To Add Admin To Page On Facebook
Facebook now allows you to add admin to page on Facebook. You may have used this feature when creating groups or Pages. If you did, you may have noticed that it requires a member to be added first before adding any others.
This was the case until Facebook added the ability for you to manage your pages and groups from your admin console. You can now access these features by clicking the link “Apps”. Clicking on the option called “settings” will open the new option. Here you will see the option “Pages: Create Roles”. If you check the option “create page roles” you will be required to enter the user name of the admin you wish to add. This is the only major change in this area.
Now you are probably wondering how you can give the right access to the right people. Well, if you are not very computer savvy, you will find this section very easy to understand. Basically the Facebook Admin dashboard gives you access to a few menus, each with its own set of options. One of these menus is the Accessible admin menu.
On this menu you can choose the page role you want to create. The page role gives you the power to manage a group of pages or a single page within a group. If you check the option “manage groups using a page role” then Facebook will give you some basic settings to get you going. If you have previously created a page or a group, you can use the “profile” part of this menu to give you the basic settings for that.
You can also add members to a page, or you can delete members from your page. To add members to a page, you just need to login to Facebook and click on “posts”. When you click on “add member” a new page will be displayed. When you click on the link for “edit details”, you will now be able to add or delete members from this account.
There are several different settings for different levels of administrator. For example, you might not think that it’s possible to edit your personal settings, but you would be very surprised! There are several different settings for different levels of admin, allowing you to manage your page any way that you like. You can change these values by clicking on “manage settings” and then scrolling down to “levels”. You can also change the access level for your personal settings by clicking on “manage permissions”.
There is one last setting that you can change which is the role you want to have as an admin. If you are not certain what this is, then scroll down to the bottom of the page, and there is a link titled “Administrator Roles” which will take you to that section. You can change the role you have by clicking on “Transfer Role”, changing the new role you have into the one you have already chosen. Change the Access Level setting to Anyone Can, so that anyone can change someone else’s settings. You will always remove yourself from the role of “root”.
Facebook has several different roles you can assign to yourself, and you can even change these roles anytime by clicking on “manage roles” and scrolling down to the desired role. Changing the access level will also unlock different capabilities for yourself such as editing pictures, browsing images, publishing posts, commenting on documents etc. By changing these settings, you will be able to manage your pages in a way that suits yourself and your lifestyle. You can use the same setup for managing your company as you have for your personal settings on Facebook. You can either allow people to manage your page for you, or you can log in every time and make changes yourself. Changing the access level will unlock different capabilities for you to use on Facebook.
