All about Spirit Airlines Infant Policy
What is Spirit Airlines infant policy?
If you need to travel with your baby who is younger than 2 years (24 months), you can book a flight ticket with Spirit Airlines and travel with your infant as a lap child without purchasing an extra seat.
If you want to travel with an infant as a lap child with Spirit Airlines, you need to fulfill the following conditions:
The infant traveling as a lap child must be more than 7 days and less than 2 years of age otherwise you need to purchase a separate seat for the infant.
The infant must travel with an adult with the age of more than 15 years. You are not allowed to travel with an infant as a lap child if you are less than 15 years old.
One adult (more than 15 years of age) is allowed to take only one baby as a lap child. If you are traveling with more than one lap child you need to purchase the seats for the second child and so on.
You need to present the birth certificate and the passport etc. of the infant at the airport whenever required. You will be allowed to carry one extra carry-on bag in the flight for your infant. You need to make sure that you have packed food, diapers, toys etc. for your kid for a pleasant journey.
If you have a Spirit Airlines booking, you need to notify the airlines that you need to travel with an infant before the time of check-in. You can contact the Spirit Airlines customer service team by dialing their toll-free phone number anytime (24 X 7) and notify them about it. While informing them about your kid traveling with you, you need to help them with your flight booking details so that you can see the details of your baby traveling with you in the booking. For any details of your existing booking or want the reservation you can contact to the travel experts.
