Warrington has defied expectation en route to becoming a world champion. Few predicted him to snatch the title away from Lee Selby last May.

Even fewer expected him to successfully defend it against Carl Frampton in December.
But after that phenomenal 2018, the Leeds fighter will relinquish that underdog status when he takes on mandatory challenger Galahad – who admits Saturday will be a career-defining night for him.
Like Warrington, he comes into the fight with an unblemished record with the two Yorkshiremen boasting near-identical professional numbers – although Galahad boasts more than double the number of KO wins.

I stepped into the ring with David Haye … and knocked him out.
There was nothing technical about it, either. It was as clean as they come.
Okay, okay… it was only a game of poker, which was conveniently taking place inside the ring at Haye’s central London gym, but I am now one of a small number of people in the world who can boast stepping in there and getting the better of one of the toughest heavyweights in British boxing history.
That is the beauty of poker. I am a slightly chubby young man who loves nothing more than a pint. But when there are cards and chips on the table, I can on the same level as even the most fierce of people.
“People always think, ‘it’s the chance to knockout the Hayemaker’,” he says, while I was fully aware that was the main reason for my visit.
It outlines the size of the task staring Haye in the face as he gets set for a different, but equally as daunting, challenge following his retirement from boxing.
He is on the other side of the spectrum. Rather than growing in stature, he is brought down to everybody else’s level. The size and power advantage he has always relied on evaporates.
Well, it evaporates to an extent. I still got a lump in my throat when Haye was looking me up and down trying to get a read. After all, I was invited into his gym, on his terms, into his game.
For those who know poker, I shoved all-in as we were heads-up on the turn. I had the nut straight with Ace-King, and 10-Jack-Queen on the board, and had him crushed.
I was trying to make my hand look like a bluff, but never thought I would get a call. But then he started thinking… and thinking… and thinking some more.
