Marathi television channels are slowly edging in on its Hindi competitors. Mumbai is the home of Bollywood and a large chuck of the population will continue to watch Hindi serials. However, the Marathi TV Shows have been on the rise lately. This is reflected in the upward spike of the TRP ratings, over the last few years.
